James Kring, Inc. (JKI) has been selected as an approved vendor under the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Armament Directorate's Enterprise-Wide Agile Acquisition Contract (EWAAC), a strategic partnership that will run through 2031.

JKI's selection for EWAAC builds on the company's proven track record in highly demanding industries, including Aerospace, Nuclear, and Semiconductor. Among these applications, JKI has been involved with some of the most advanced test facilities in the world, where the boundaries of known physics are pushed and empirical data remains foundational. These projects include:

  • The NASA ArcJet Data Acquisition Upgrade (DASU), providing critical validation data for heat shield testing
  • Hypersonic Test Facilities with FPGA integration for 25 nano-second precision control
  • Commercial Rocket Engine Test-Stands delivering deterministic control and high-fidelity data acquisition
  • High Vacuum Test Facilities for hall-effect thrusters requiring precise facility control and data validation
  • Flight Component Test-Stands for validation of multi-rotor aircraft

These high-precision data acquisition and control systems operate in environments where accuracy and reliability are essential.

"Being selected as an EWAAC vendor marks an important expansion of JKI's capabilities in the defense sector," said Sarah Zalusky, Partner & Staff Engineer at James Kring, Inc.

The EWAAC program is designed to rapidly address the Air Force Program Executive Office requirements, with a primary focus on Armament and the Digital Trinity. By leveraging the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulation part 16.5, EWAAC aims to significantly expedite the acquisition process for critical defense capabilities.

JKI has decades of experience delivering mission-critical software solutions that excel at acquiring, processing, and validating high-fidelity test data, achieving the data excellence that is foundational for the data-rich test environments of the future.
